People ask me why I chose to be a psychologist. I'm often asked "do you get drained, seeing people with problems all day?"
The answer is: no. My work as a psychologist energises me. Why? Because I see it as sacred, spiritual work and I call in a high vibration each time I sit with a client.
My desire to help people comes from a time when, as a young adult, I was in a lot of emotional pain myself...
When I was 16, my mother died after an arduous seven year battle with breast cancer. My father died when I was 24, three months after I'd arrived in Australia.
As a result, I found myself alone in the world, with no friends, no family and no prospects. I felt terrified.
Furthermore, I felt as if trapped in a spinning top, feeling dizzy, disoriented and confused once I stumbled out.
Without a good psychologist to guide me, I spent months in a foetal position, crying. I had no idea what to do other than take one day at a time.
Then, using the spiritual practices of yoga, meditation and psychic development, I turned within for the answers. At a profound level, I discovered what I needed to transform my emotional pain.
Therefore, I decided to transform my discoveries into a career. I went back to uni full time and seven years later came out with a Doctor of Psychology degree. Shortly after that I qualified as a clinical psychologist.
Now, over 30 years on, I practice a deep compassionate awareness that allows me to attune to my clients' struggles. I have become the kind of psychologist I needed as a young adult.
There's no intense emotion I'm unfamiliar with. There's also nothing to judge. Your powerful human feelings, in all their raw intensity, are like a Tsunami that you can learn to ride like a master surfer.
Don't be alone in your dark night of the soul. I can help.

Resolve Relationship Issues
A lot of our emotional suffering stems from difficult relationships. For example, with an intimate partner, family, friends or work colleagues. When you take control of your own reactions, you can be more confident in saying no to the toxic and draining behaviours of others.
Enhance Your Intuition and Spirituality
Intuition, creativity, imagination and spirituality are all deeply intertwined aspects of the human experience. I help you develop your intuition and spirituality as essential competencies in developing resilience and emotional freedom.
